Project Foreman - Mining

This organisation is a well respected mining and civil contractor with a good presence across the Asia Pacific region. As a result of being awarded a new contract we are recruiting an experienced Project Foreman to assume responsibility of shift production activities. This is an exciting and challenging role on a new contract that will span several years. This mine operation has realistic expansion prospects and is owned by a well funded and ambitious mid tier base metals producer.
 
In this position you will be responsible for coordinating and managing shift production activities ensuring smooth continuity of operation in accordance to safety, budget and production targets. Reporting to the project manager you will be tasked with delivering the contract agreement managing all production personnel on site as well as coordinating other contractors and sub-contractors.
 
To be successful in you application it is expected you will have several years experience in a relevant contracting environment ideally on an underground metalliferous mine site. The ability to lead and meet targets are essential requirements.
 
You will be rewarded with a challenging position that remunerates very competitively against the present market. The project is relatively new and is expected to run for a number of years offering longevity to all personnel and contractors employed. The staff roster is 8:6 with FIFO from all major centre’s on the Eastern Seaboard with meals and accommodation included.
