Principal Resource Geologist

This company is recognised as a leading International mining consultancy with offices across the globe.

Due to recent expansion within their Melbourne office, the role for a Principal Resource Geologist has become available.

As the Principal Resource Geologist you will work within a dynamic team providing guidance and advice for to leading mining companies and their world-class development projects. You will be supported by extensive training and be exposed to leading edge technology whilst working in an environment that encourages creativity and flexibility.

The successful applicant will firstly need to have tertiary qualifications in Geology. Considerable mine site experience in either Coal, base and precious metals will be essential to the role.  Significant expertise in resource estimation and geo-statistical methods will be highly regarded as will knowledge and experience in Vulcan and other mining software.
