Large international EPCM are currently recruiting for an experienced Controls Engineer to join an exciting new project in WA on a long term contract basis. Although initially a minimum 12 months contract, the chance of being reassigned to a new project after this term is very likely.
Candidates will ideally be from a power background, and will need to have completed at least two projects from start to finish. This work should include designing and commissioning your own systems. Candidates with 7-15 years experience will be preferred and experience with every stage of the project life cycle is essential. Also, a good understanding of turbines is desirable.
The role will involve:
* Client interface and meetings
* Mentoring of more junior engineers
* Travelling to site for commissioning
* Design and commissiong of control systems
