Civil Construction Superintendent - Road Project

My Client is a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who have recently won a substantial road rehabilitation contract and will be operating as the Client’s representative.
 
The project will span a period of 18 months and will be located in North West Victoria covering the rehabilitation of flood damaged local roads. They require an Engineer to operate as the Principal / Lead Superintendent on site.
 
You will be responsible for monitoring the works of a Civil Contractor in line with the Contractual agreement ensuring that the required quality of works and timelines are achieved. A full and thorough understanding of similar contracts (road construction / rehabilitation / maintenance) will be essential.
 
The successful candidate will ideally have an extensive background operating as a Client Superintendent on road / highway projects as well as a thorough understanding of VicRoads requirements. However, individuals with a background of working in a similar role for a contractor or local council will also be considered.
 
Only candidates holding a Civil Engineering degree qualification or equivalent can be considered for the role. Ideally you will be located in North West Victoria, however paid accommodation is provided for the length of the contract enabling you to return at weekends.
 
A highly competitive and generous salary is on offer on top of a weekly travel allowance and bonus. A vehicle will also be provided.
