Senior Resource Geologist
My client is a reputable Australian Mining Company with a presence on a national and global scale now have expansion plans for their office in Brisbane and are looking to recruit a Resource Geologist. Responsibilities of the Senior Resource Geologist include:
Investigation of Geostatistical data.
Validating current block models.
The creation of new block models using Vulcan.
Report and proposal writing.
Studies and audits of geological data sampling methodologies.
Estimating resources.
Requirements of the Senior Resource Geologist include:
Degree in geology or related discipline.
At least 5 years + resource modelling experience with a sound understanding in Vulcan or surpac.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced computer literacy.
Strong operational and technical experience,
Excellent 3D geological and block modelling experience.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
There is an excellent remuneration package available to the successful candidates.
