As Principal Geotechnical Consultant yours is a crucial position, a balance of management, business and technical duties. You will be involved in providing high level geotechnical expertise to clients, both from the office and on site where necessary. As an expert in multiple aspects of Geotechnical Engineering, you are able to provide comprehensive solutions to mining operations, and identify areas for improvements in methods and systems, thereby adding value through your extensive geotechnical knowledge. As well as this you will win business and grow your team, passing on your expertise, identifying the next geotechnical experts and mentoring them to success.
 
You will possess a tertiary qualification in a related discipline as well as extensive operational experience in the Australian open pit mining industry. Excellent personal presentation is essential, as are exquisite communication skills, both written and verbal.
