About Our Client
Our client is a global engineering consultancy that specialise in offering engineering, project management and operation solutions to energy and resources industries. With an impressive ongoing domestic and international project portfolio across mining and O&G, our client is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to assist in the study phase of a major iron ore project.
Job Description
The Lead Mechanical Engineers will have sole responsibility for the full delivery of Mechanical design outputs for a major iron ore project. Specific duties will include:
Supervising the performance of mechanical engineers
Ensure projects are delivered to budget and schedule
Reviewing and approving mechanical capital cost estimates
Multidisciplinary involvement
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Membership to Engineers or Australia
At least 10 years mechanical design experience in mining, minerals processing or materials handling
Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering
Proven ability to mentor and manage staff members
