We work closely with a contractor who supplies Scaffolders to BHP for ongoing shutdowns. The shutdowns are very regular going out to Port Headland and Newman every 2nd week. They have indicated to us a need to secure 5 to 10 more regular advanced scaffolders. The shifts tend to be out Sunday and back the following Friday and then repeated the following week.
What you will need for this role:
• Confined Space (BHP approved)
• Working @ Heights (BHP approved)
• VOC (Verification of company BHP approved) Advanced Scaffolding
• High Risk Work Safe card with SA
• Pass a Pre – employment medical + Drug Screening
• Complete an on line safety test designed for mining workers
• Full resume with contactable refs
• Have an IO (Iron Ore) induction completed or willing to attend an unpaid two day IO induction prior to flying out
Payment for this role is as follows:
Advanced Scaffolder AM rate: $46.35
Advanced Scaffolder PM rate: $55.62
