We work closely with a contractor who supplies Boilermakers to BHP for ongoing shutdowns. The shutdowns are regular going out to Port Headland and Newman every 2nd week. They have indicated to us a need to secure several more trade qualified staff.
What you will need for this role:
• Trade Paper or Trade Recognition as a Boilermaker or Fabricator
• Working @ Heights (BHP approved)
• Confined Space (BHP approved)
• Hot Works/ Fire Extinguisher/Electrical Ticket
• High Risk Work Safe Card – Preferred
• Pass a Pre – employment medical + Drug Screening
• Complete a online safety test designed for mining workers
• Full resume with contactable referees
• Have an IO (Iron Ore) induction completed or willing to attend an unpaid two day IO induction prior to flying out.
Day rates for Newman are $47.74 per hour and night rates are $57.29
Day rates Port Headland are $45.19 per hour and night rates are $54.23
