As Queensland’s resources projects advance through to site construction activities, a leading engineering firm now has an immediate requirement for a proven Senior Piping Engineer.Recognised for excellence in engineering and project execution, this international EPCM is working across the most complex and talked about projects in the world. Located in Brisbane’s CBD, you will join a multidiscipline team and focus on detailed engineering for various projects.
 
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical specs and reports for mechanical and piping work. In addition, you will conduct document checking and design verification tasks in accordance with company and project procedures, supervise junior engineers and correspond with other disciplines during project execution. As a guideline, the client is looking for a candidate with the following experiences:

• Worked on large or complex engineering projects, specifically within the heavy industry
• Help deliver piping design through all phases of the project which include concept development, FEED, detail design and commissioning.
• Proven skills at investigating the project needs and developing and defining the scope of work and the deliverables required; 
• Experience in pipe stress analysis required
• RPEQ or RPEQ Eligible (Preferred).
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
