THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Completions Supervisor the technical and functional aspects of the completion, workover and abandonment operations are optimized, cost effective and within the company’s safety and environmental guidelines.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Promote Canadian Natural’s corporate safety and environment policies and ensure that all field operations are in compliance with the applicable government regulations
• Ensure Job Hazard Assessments are completed by consultants for required work
• Provide direction and coordinate required well servicing operations throughout the district
• Research well files and gather data for the development and implementation of well servicing programs
• Monitor and provide direction to consultants and vendors on a daily basis, and submit to management a daily operation tracking summary
• Prepare and track accurate cost estimates and submit a supplement when required and ensure quarterly cost accruals are reflective of work performed
• Monitor and evaluate field personnel, rigs and related services with respect to efficiency and cost
• Work with the Materials and Contracts Group obtain bids from various job related vendors and evaluate them for overall quality, performance and cost
• Prepare and submit all the required pre and post job government documentation and ensure any follow up requirements are met
• Approve all related vendor invoices
• Work and coordinate activities with the drilling, production, exploitation, exploration and surface land groups, Area Foremen and assist in area well reviews
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 10+ years of related industry experience with Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Well servicing operation requirements
o Spreadsheet applications and word processing
o Viable opportunities to improve overall operational performance
