A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a large mining concern based on the East Rand, for a qualified Executive PA. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years experience within this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Related Degree
  • Drivers licence
  • MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • 3 years experience in an office environment in a large corporate organisation

Job Specification

Key Tasks:

  • Receive, screen and direct internal and external calls to the relevant person
  • Provide general office administration support
  • Handle official correspondence and other records
  • Reconcile executive expenses for authorisation
  • Register, track and load all capexes on the capex system
  • Draft letters, reports, memorandums, schedules and presentations in the required format on behalf of
  • the executive
  • Conduct research and business analysis for the executive team as and when required
  • Responsible for co-coordinating and preparing executive presentations and packets
  • Arrange meetings and functions when required
  • Prepare agendas and programs for meetings
  • Attend meetings and take minutes of meetings, both in the office and at other locations
  • Consolidate, type, compile and distribute professionally prepared management reports to relevant
  • parties, including divisional executives
  • Analyze reports and highlight key issues to the executives
  • Prepare research reports on business issues as required by the executives
  • Assist with executive travel plans when required
  • Gifts and hospitality register custodian
  • Responsible for housekeeping of immediate working area
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Adhere to the environmental policies, procedures and practices
