Heavy Duty Mechanic

• This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for work assignments that could be in the shop or field. Duties include inspecting servicing repair and overhaul of heavy mining equipment ancillary equipment used in open pit coal mining such as shovels drills haul truck, loaders dozers and excavators. The successful applicant must be able to work 12 hour day and night shifts on a 7X7 rotation be a team player and have the following. A valid Interprovincial trade qualification in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics preferred. 2 or more years related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment. Good written and oral skills and knowledge of computer maintenance systems an asset.
