Job Description

Chemical Company, a well-established multinational company with extensive
support frameworks and are resources that you would expect from a leading
worldwide construction chemical supplier.
Working
in the underground mining industry in the Western United States/Canada, you
will travel throughout the Western United States /Western Canada as required to
meet customer needs.
You
will maintain and grow customer relationships by improving business at existing
accounts; support newly attained "major" accounts and gain new
business at selected accounts.
You
will provide action plans and analysis for gaining business, which includes
providing support for complex technical issues and assisting in product and
sales training.
You
will have working and demonstrated knowledge of ground support technologies
including: sprayed and in situ concrete,
ground consolidation, rock bolting, Thin Sprayed Liners and injection
products. Knowledge of tunneling is a
plus.
This
position implements and complies with Company initiatives, policies, and
procedures. Successful applicants must
be physically capable of performing work duties in an underground mining
operations environment 3 - 4 times a week.
This
position will be based working from a home office in strategically relevant
Western US States or British Columbia, Canada.
Candidates
must have the legal ability to travel internationally as well as the ability to
qualify for a Canadian/US working visa (L1).
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Mining Engineering or Physical Science Technologist
degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3- 5 Years underground mining and/or mining industry based sales
experience required
- Knowledge of hard rock mining practices and methods required
- Knowledge of ground support (related to sprayed concrete and
injection) and backfill is a plus
- Ability to work multiple shifts as needed
- A current, valid driver’s license is required
