Job Overview

Working under general supervision, provides Learning Management System (LMS) administration and management of training records database. Assists in assigning and maintaining training requirements. Deploys online training, creates and runs reports, supports other trainers, managers, and staff.

Responsibilities

Work safe and be an advocate for safety.

Responsible for maintaining training assignments, building curricula within LMS, and auditing employee and supervisor data.

Maintains training records database, works to ensure regulatory compliance and data synchronization with other systems, and performs regular internal data and system audits.

Assists with building and maintaining training requirements.

Facilitates attendee experience [check-in, etc.]

Provides regular plus ad hoc reporting, as well as trending and analyzing data from the LMS.

Assists outside instructors [TSTC, OT&I. etc.] in classroom administration.

Administers all classroom, conference room, and lab scheduling [coordinates with Executive, Engineering, and Operations to ensure needs are met].

Coordinates with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure that employees are meeting planned training objectives and to resolve scheduling conflicts.

Evaluates training course demand [assigned courses] and schedule offerings then works with instructors to plan scheduled offerings to meet demand.

Performs departmental financial duties to include billing, expense reconciliation, purchase requests, etc.

Creates/Maintains training schedule, course enrollment forms, course marketing.

Assists Curriculum Developer to ensure that content is updated and LMS reflects current offerings.

Assists executive, engineering, and operation administrative assistants when hosting VIP's.

Assists with testing and verification of training products to ensure quality and proper functionality.

Education / Qualification

Knowledge necessary to perform in this position is generally acquired through a relevant Associates degree or equivalent experience

Success in an internal customer support role

Skill typically gained through 2+ years of experience in LMS administration (SuccessFactors preferred).

Intermediate level skill with Excel creating complex spreadsheets. Same level skill of PowerPoint is beneficial.

Keeps pace with latest trends and advances in eLMS software, training and methodologies

Requires ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Superior level of "attention to detail" competency

Requires willingness to initiate, promote and exhibit team-oriented behavior

Requires ability and willingness to work on multiple projects at one time and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
