Intermediate Geotechnical Engineers

• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and management expertise in the following areas:  design and management of large geotechnical investigation projects, ground improvement techniques, foundation design and specification
• Experience in working in cold-regions engineering is an asset
• Other relevant experience that would be beneficial includes rock mechanics, coal mining and subsidence engineering.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (Masters Degree preferred)
• Must be a professional engineer registered in Alberta (or eligible to register).
• Experience working in a consulting environment.
• Intermediate: 4-6 years relevant engineering experience and demonstrable management experience.
• Proven record of independent work and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A sound base in the application of geotechnical engineering to problem solving
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills are essential
