Intermediate Geotechnical Engineers

- The
successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and management
expertise in the following areas: design and management of large
geotechnical investigation projects, ground improvement techniques, foundation
design and specification
- Experience
in working in cold-regions engineering is an asset
- Other
relevant experience that would be beneficial includes rock mechanics, coal
mining and subsidence engineering.
- Degree in Civil
Engineering or Geological Engineering (Masters Degree preferred)
- Must be a professional
engineer registered in Alberta (or eligible to register).
- Experience working in
a consulting environment.
- Intermediate: 4-6 years relevant engineering
experience and demonstrable management experience.
- Proven record of independent work and ability to work
effectively within a team environment.
- A sound base in the
application of geotechnical engineering to problem solving
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong interpersonal
communication and critical thinking skills are essential
