Metallurgist

Key tasks & responsibilities:

• Maintaining and improving their existing processes for bimetal manufacture at the site and their other sites in Europe.
• Providing technical support for their sintering, roll bonding and casting processes.
• Continuously improving their sintering, casting and roll bonding.
• Ensuring that the specifications, tolerances and working procedures for the new or revised processes are fully documented and that the production, maintenance and laboratory staff are fully trained in the operation of the new equipment and processes.
• Candidates must have a metallurgy/materials or similar engineering degree, and relevant experience in metallurgical processes.
• Experience of sintering, heat treatment, roll bonding or casting would be an advantage.
• The ability to speak Japanese or a second European language would be an advantage to a candidate but is not essential
