Underground Mine Geologist

U.S. Silver Corp. is seeking a qualified individual to provide
geological support at its underground mining operations near Wallace, Idaho.
U.S. Silver currently operates the underground Galena Mine, producing a
silver/copper concentrate from high-grade, narrow-vein ore bodies
The Coeur Mine and Caladay area are also part of U.S. Silver’s holdings.
The Galena Mine is in the heart of beautiful north Idaho noted for its
fabulous outdoor recreational opportunities
- The Underground Mine Geologist will be responsible for a wide range of
geological activities including mapping, sampling, guiding underground
headings, and logging and sampling diamond drill core. In addition, the
geologist will utilize computer software to interpret geology and produce representative
maps and models
- Excellent computer skills and specific experience with 3D geologic
software, AutoCAD, and databases will be an asset
- Candidates will have 0 to 3 years experience performing basic geologic
functions, as well as a bachelor degree in geology
- The work will be performed in both an underground and office environment
- The candidate should be well organized, pay attention to detail, and be
able to work cooperatively with other technical services personnel and the
underground workforce
