This position is for a Junior Mine Planning Engineer to join a successful international mining and exploration company. You will be based in the Pilbara region, residential-based, working a 9 days on, 6 days off roster.
You will be reporting to the Mine Superintendent and your core duties include:
· Presenting conceptual designs to mine operations
· Mine Design, planning and scheduling for pit optimization
· Working in-line with the annual and capital budgets
· Developing life of mine schedules
· Ensuring mine safety standards are maintained during projects
To be considered for this role, you must have:
· A tertiary degree in engineering or another relevant discipline
· Two years mining experience
· Knowledge of mine planning software
· 1st class mining certificate, or ability to gain one
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $115k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
