An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to join a large exploration, development and operating mining company. You will be based at their lead mine, which is situation in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
You will be reporting to the Senior Environmental Engineer, and your core duties will include:
· Field sampling (sampling)
· Project monitoring
· Development of high level environmental management plans
· Emission assessments
· GIS map development and risk assessment
To be considered for this position, you will need a tertiary degree in Environmental Engineering, or another relevant discipline. Experience in the mining industry, and with mapping/GIS systems such as MapInfo is also required.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $80k - $110k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
