Mechanical Design Draftsperson

Mount Isa Copper Operations currently has an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Draftsperson to join its North Queensland Operations.

Key responsibilities include:
·         Providing design drafting support to the Engineering team
·         Participating in the Xstrata OH & S system

The ideal applicant will possess:
·         A Mechanical Engineering qualification
·         Experience in the mining industry is desirable or relevant experience in heavy industry will also be considered appropriate
·         Electrical drafting exposure would be an added advantage
·         Experience in AutoCAD and Solidworks drafting packages is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to manage the key responsibilities of the role
·         Excellent interpersonal skills and be a motivated, outcome oriented person
