HSE Trainer - Iron Ore Project

Duration: Required for Project duration until 2012

Job Description:

• Develops and delivers HSE training and education programs.
• Plans, coordinates and administers the onsite Safety, Health and Environment Management training plan.
• Coordinates the development and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) consultation structures and ensures appropriate communication flow.
• Coordinates the development, implementation and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures and strategies in order to meet best practice HSE management standards.
• Researches industry HSE best practice and develops meaningful standards for the Ferrexpo site.
• Liaises with safety and health representatives, employees and other stakeholders to assist in identifying, developing and implementing continuous improvement of HSE activities.
• Monitors, evaluates and reports to management on relevant HSE performance and issues.
• Conducts safety audits and inspections as required in order to monitor compliance with HSE standards.
• Undertakes investigations with respect to work related hazards, accidents, illnesses and injuries.
• Promotes and markets HSE standards.
• Oversees the HSE database and reporting system.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of management systems, policies and programs relevant to HSE legislation, codes of practice and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Contemporary knowledge in HSE legislation and relevant issues.

Any Special Requirements:

• Russian/Ukrainian Speaking is highly desirable
