This is a diversified resources group with a focus on export of high-grade minerals to global markets. They are developing new business units in key commodities including copper, zinc and iron ore. With a portfolio of advanced exploration targets and development prospects this resources group is focused on capitalising on world demand and continuing its ongoing success.
Your Role…
Based in [Location] and reporting to the Manager Engineering, you will function within the Operations team and provide both maintenance and project schedules as well as operational and project support. Typically your role will see you involved with fixed plant, mobile plant and capital projects to $2M across multiple sites throughout .
Further to this your responsibilities will include:
· Site and Office Schedules Support.
· Developing and executing planning strategies, procedures and methods.
· Develop and execute strategies for planning longevity.
· Develop specification of planning tools to be used.
Your role will be pivotal in the selection and implementation of the systems utilised in the course of your work. Currently running Microsoft Project, there will be a shift to another computer based maintenance management system such as Primavera P3 or SureTrak etc. based on your knowledge and recommendation.
Your Qualifications…
As this position is highly autonomous you will require a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering accompanied by at least 10+ years experience in the Mechanical Maintenance field.
Further to this it is also expected that you possess a sound understanding of:
· Fixed and Mobile plant maintenance strategies and practices
· Procurement Schedules.
· Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
· Budgeting, project management principles and financial modelling.
Your Remuneration…
This role attracts a highly competitive salary package negotiated on your experience and background. Along with being situated in a capital city on a Monday to Friday roster, you will be provided with full relocation for you and your family where necessary. Travel to site will be conducted when required however the majority of your time will be occupied in head office.
