Our client, an ASX listed minerals industry company, is a world leader in its sector. We seek to appoint an experienced, degree qualified mechanical engineer to take on this role.
The site has been operational for just over a year and additional orebodies are being prepared to be mined. Contract surface miners are used but you will have responsibility for the fixed plant, including the processing plant, and for strategic engineering decisions.
This is not simply a maintenance role. The person coming in will bring a wealth of modern, continuous operations engineering experience. Your input will be sought in management forums into how best to operate the facilities.
You will be degree qualified with several years of minerals industry or other continuous process experience. This role would suit a person currently operating at department head level but may also be suitable for a superintendent at a large operation who is ready to step up into a higher level management role.
