An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Geostatistician with an international Perth based mining consultancy. You will be working with a dynamic team on some of Australia's newest, most challenging and diverse projects.

As part of this role some of your specific responsibilities and work will include:
· Technical geostatistical work on a wide range of projects.
· Liaison with specialists from other disciplines within the company both locally and abroad
· Hands on completion of projects where required.
· Exploratory data analysis (statistics, variography etc.)
· Classical resource modeling
· Geostatistical in-situ resource modeling
· Geostatistical recoverable resource modeling
· Geostatistical simulation studies
· Risk assessment studies
To be successful in this role you will need:
· A strong background in geology and resource modelling is essential as well as broad experience at a senior level of project evaluation and assessment.
· Travel may also be required throughout Australia and overseas.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $60k - $80k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
