Mining Engineer

Graymont Materials (NY) Inc., a producer of asphalt, concrete and
construction stone in northern New York has an immediate
opening for a Mining Engineer
The Mining Engineer will
- Develop mining and reclamation plans and obtain permits
- Work with plant managers to ensure operations are in compliance with
permits and environmental regulations
- Assist with quarry planning and reclamation
- Provide technical support for other projects as required
- The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, strong
communications skills, and the ability to work independently
The position is based out of Plattsburgh, NY and reports to the
Regional Production Manager
Qualifications for this position include
- 4 year college degree in engineering or geology
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- CAD and surveying skills preferred
