A successful Australian gold mining company is wanting a talented Production Engineer to join their Kalgoorlie operations. You will be based in Perth, and fly in, fly out to their open cut site. You will work a 9 days on, 5 days off roster.
You will be reporting to the mine superintendent, and your duties will include:
· See projects from feasibility through to execution
· Investigating, analysing and supervising construction projects
· Critical assessment of contractor performance
· Preparing periodic customer and management reports for cost and progress review
· Handle multiple projects and respond to varying priorities depending on production and seasonal constraints
You will need a tertiary degree in Mining Engineering, or another relevant discipline. You will also need either an unrestricted quarry managers certificate, or first class mine managers certificate.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $80k - $115k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
