This is a great career development opportunity if you're a talented Project Engineer looking to get some international mining experience under your belt. You will be working for an international mining and exploration company, on a fly in, fly out basis to Africa.
You will be reporting to the Mine Manager, and your core duties will include:
· See multi-disciplined projects from feasibility through to execution
· Investigating, analysing and supervising construction projects
· Critical assessment of contractor performance
· Preparing periodic customer and management reports for cost and progress review
· Handle multiple projects and respond to varying priorities depending on production and seasonal constraints
You will need to be degree qualified, and have three years experience in a project engineer role, within the mining industry.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
