Our client is a leading provider of professional services to the energy, resources and complex processes industries.
This leading international EPCM company has recently been awarded the contract for a flagship iron ore project in the Mid-West of Western Australia which is set to ramp up in the coming months, with completion projected for 2012.
Our client currently requires Senior Planners for their $3 Billion Flagship Iron Ore Project .
Key Challenge:
Your role as a Planner is to support the project controls personnel, utilising the suite of project planning and control systems in the set-up and execution phases of the project.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
· Assist in the rollout of project planning and change control systems including initial configuration and contribution to training activities.
· Ensure that the appropriate coding and structures are in place, so as to provide pertinent reports that meet reporting requirements, enabling the adequate management of the project schedule and resources.
· Issue reports relating to the schedule on a timely basis, to enable key inputs to be fed into the schedule, identifying any slippages, including critical path analysis and management.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
· 5-10 years EPCM project experience
· Will consider quality candidates with under 5 years experience in relevant fields
· Engineering or Construction field experience
· Mining (preferably) or Oil & Gas background
· Experience with P3 or P5
· Degree qualified
· Interstate and overseas applicants will be considered
