This [Location]-based role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with one of the world’s most highly regarded engineering consultancies and lead and develop a talented team of process engineers working on a diverse range of projects in the oil & gas and mining industries.
 
As Principal Process Engineer, you will become an integral member of the minerals, process and industrial group and be in a position to greatly influence the future direction of company.
 
This role offers tremendous variety and requires someone with a strong technical background as well as a keen mind for business development.
 
Your responsibilities will span:
·         proposal development
·         initiating projects
·         the development of P&ID s and PFDs
·         technical report writing and staff mentoring
 
It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as a huge part of your success will be attributed to your ability to interact with and lead a diverse and talented group of engineers, gaining the best possible results for the client, the company and individual team members.  
 
With the relevant tertiary qualification/s, you will have 10-15 years experience working as a Chemical or Process Engineer, and be able to demonstrate an extensive track record of managing teams and delivering projects to a high standard.
 
With many of the company’s upcoming ventures in oil & gas, it is preferable, but not essential, that you have experience with on-shore oil & gas projects.
