Responsibilities:
- Project Engineering (design,
contract management, implementation of projects)
- Production reporting and
analysis (Weekly, 90 Day, Annual, and Life of Mine and Tailings Plans)
- Major Equipment
justifications
- Assists in development of the
Mine/Tailings Operations Annual Budget
- Provides Mine/Tailings
Operations Technical Support
- Qualifications
- Bachelor of
Science Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- 1-10+ years
of Mine and/or Tailings Engineering experience, oil sands experience an asset
- Well-developed
communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and leadership
skills with the ability to work in a flexible team environment
- Strong
computer skills and a familiarity with mining & drafting software packages
- Good task
management and reporting skills
- Good
Supervisory experience
