Our Client works with staff to identify opportunities, unlocking hidden value in companies.
They are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their team.
Working in their Cost Estimation Practice, you will be responsible for managing and carrying out feasibility studies, cost estimation and budgeting.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team based in [Location]and working on projects across Australia and the rest of the world.
The Candidate will:
· Have a proven track record in the use of Xeras and Excel to build mine costing and budgeting models.
· Enjoys working in challenging environments where initiative is valued and who has a passion for understanding mining, mining systems and people.
· Be a qualified professional with at least ten years experience.
· Be a strong, capable person who can ‘make things go right’, is self-starting, able to think and plan and has initiative.
· Well presented, neat and tidy.
· Have strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
· Be able to accommodate flexible working hours and tough project deadlines.
· Wants to broaden their knowledge and work with other highly skilled people in a structured, smoothly run business, where their contribution and skills will be both prized and acknowledged.
Qualifications required for this role:
· Degree in Commerce and/or Mining Engineering.
· Technical Skills
· Proficient in Xeras and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Preference will be given to those with iron ore and/or cement experience.
