Mechanical Drafter

We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsperson to produce detailed drawings from the information provided by others

• The incumbent will accurately carry out drafting as assigned
• They will participate in projects as a resource, offering suggestions as required
• Work as a valued team member of Central Engineering and the various project teams
• Be knowledgeable in Engineering Standards, procedures and processes
• This is an entry level position and the role holder will not coordinate projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from a Technical College

SKILLS:

• Understanding the impact of the design to the organization
• Solid knowledge in the filing and documentation practice
• Understanding of the product process flow and the general relationship between plants in a mining,pulp & paper,cement or similar environment
• Knowledgeable in drafting standards and discipline specific symbols
• Must be able to apply and use standard MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good organizational skills for planning and task execution
• This includes analytical and decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and demonstrative -Interpersonal communication
• Effective time management - task completion
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline tasks
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microstation
