Geomechanical Engineer

- This position is responsible for geotechnical analysis and numerical
modeling to optimize coal mine ground control and mine design and planning
- You will evaluate site-specific geologic and stress conditions
- Recommend safe, cost-effective and efficient roof and rib control for
longwall headgates and tailgates, longwall setups, longwall developments,
bleeders, and mains development for all Consol Energy’s mining operations
- Employ analytical and numerical models to make optimal mine design and
mine planning recommendations for all Consol Energy mines
- Design underground diagnostic monitoring programs, operate and maintain
data collection equipment and systems
