MITACS is currently expanding its mandate beyond the mathematical sciences to encompass science and engineering, health sciences, social sciences and the arts. MITACS has launched a very successful program called ACCELERATE Canada which provides internship opportunities for graduate students and post doctoral fellows to do research with industry partners. MITACS aims to hire Technology Facilitators situated in Edmonton and Calgary to assist with all aspects of the ACCELERATE Canada program

• Successful candidates should have strong scientific expertise and a commitment to developing multi-disciplinary research collaborations with academic, industry and government partners
• A graduate degree is preferred, business development skills are a definite asset, and strong communications and networking skills are required. MITACS offers an attractive compensation package and an ideal work environment.
