A unique opportunity exists for an established Geologist to step into a Senior Leadership role, with an international owner/operator.
This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 8 and 6 roster that also includes an excellent salary and benefits.
You will be reporting to the Geology Superintendent and some of your primary responsibilities will include:
· Resource Modelling and grade estimation
· Management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices
· Geo statistical analysis
· System maintenance and enhancement
To be successful in this role you will need to possess relevant tertiary qualification in Geology as well as having significant previous experience in underground mining operations and resource estimation.
You will also need a strong working knowledge of geo statistics and in depth understanding of QAQC practices as well as experience with SURPAC and VULCAN.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $110k - $140k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
