Mining/Ventilation & Degasification Engineer sought by Foundation
Coal Corp in its Waynesburg, PA office
Will provide technical assistance & expertise to underground ops in
mine ventilation, degasification, & coal conveyance for both problem
solving and short, mid, & long term planning.
Qualified applicants must have:
- Masters in Mine Engineering + 2 yrs exp. (or Bachelors in Mining
Engineering + 5 yrs exp)
- 1 yr exp underground mine operations including ventilation
schematics;bulk handling principles; Analysis & Design of noise control;
and Mine Ventilation modeling, AutoCAD and Belt Analyst II; Graduate level
coursework in Industrial Hygiene and Noise Assessment, Advanced Ventilation
Modeling and Coal Mine Methane/Coal Bed Methane Production
- Exp. can be concurrent
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience
or training that is equivalent to the actual minimum requirements of the
position and shows demonstrable ability in the skill sets required for the
position
