Heavy Equipment Trainer

Nuna Logistics is committed to providing dependable and comprehensive construction, logistics, contract mining, and support services to the mining industry in northern Canada. We currently have the following vacancy:

HEAVY EQUIPMENT TRAINER

• Responsible for administering equipment theory and operator checkouts on heavy equipment (D10, 777, 789 and 5130 shovel), monitor operator performance and provide hands on coaching as well as classroom instruction
• Candidates must have 5-10 years of hands in the mining and earth works industry, excellent knowledge of heavy equipment required in open pit mining and classroom instruction experience
• Basic computer skills would be an asset
• Occupational first aid preferred.

Applicants must be able to work various rotation schedules at remote mine sites in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
