This is a great position if you're a talented Exploration Geologist looking to step up into a Senior position. You will be working for one of Australia's top iron ore mining companies. You will be based in Perth, and fly in, fly out to their Pilbara based mine site.
You will be reporting to the Chief Geologist, and your core duties will include:
· Assist with planning and implementing projects
· Interpretation of geological data
· Implementation of field project work programs
· Collation, interpretation, presentation and reporting of project results
· Assist in the preparation of monthly results and project technical reports
You will need to have a tertiary degree in Geology, or another relevant discipline. You will also need 4 years experience in a geologist role.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
