As the new Conveyor Engineer you will be a highly regarded and respected part of a management team keen to continue safe, efficient and productive mining processes.

You will work alongside highly skilled personnel and be closely mentored from above, assisting both your personal and professional growth.

You will assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities required on the coal clearance system, manage and supervise on-site contractors to ensure safe and high standards are achieved, ensure compliance with the Queensland Coal Mining Act and Regulations and manage conveyor projects underground.

·         Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering
·         You take safety personally
·         Verifiable work history in underground coal
·         Proactive approach to machine efficiency & reliability
·         Ability to problem-solve issues with creative thinking
·         Budgetary and analytical skills would be highly regarded
