Laboratory Manager

POLARIS is currently searching for an experienced Lab Manager for our Edmonton laboratory.

• This position is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the Laboratory including managing laboratory staff, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting employee training, maintaining quality control in accordance with our established ISO 17025 guidelines, reviewing and validating testing methods, and various other duties as required by executive management.
• Qualified candidates will possess two or more years of related experience within a laboratory environment, knowledge of the Oil Analysis industry, excellent communications skills, superior management ability, good understanding of Chemistry and a BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience.
