Senior Geotechnical Engineer
|
- Strong technical candidate,
with considerable experience in Geotechnical design in civil and/or structural
projects ideally gained in an engineering consultancy.
- Be confident and hard
working and prepared to be flexible to meet project demands.
- Work in one of our
Geotechnical design teams providing support on road, rail, property,
environment and other projects
- Production of technical
reports, documents & letters relating to Geotechnical jobs
- Use of Geotechnical
software tools to produce project documentation
- Coaching and mentoring of
junior team members
- Project Management and
delivery of technical projects with the minimum of supervision
- Co-ordination of
sub-contractors and junior and supply staff
- Occasional overseas
assignments
- Must have at a first degree
in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology
- Post-graduate qualification
in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology desirabl
- Should
ideally be either a Chartered Engineer or Chartered Geologist (or working
towards) and have a familiarity with common Geotechnical software tools
