• You are a top performer, who's made key contributions to your organization and have consistently exceeded targets through exceptional strategic thinking, decision making, innovation and strong leadership.
• As Vice President, Africa, you shall perform such duties and exercise such powers related to that office as prescribed or specified by MDGII's Board of Directors, its President & CEO
• You will provide leadership, as well as strategic, marketing, operational, technical and organizational direction for all drilling activities in Africa
• You will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of MDGII's African short and long-range strategic business and operating plans, planning directing and controlling selected operational activities throughout your region to achieve business goal and profit targets, directing the operations of selected business opportunities to ensure that the current and future company business plans are met, and overseeing and directing the activities of country managers in the achievement of business objectives.
• You bring to our organization a solid foundation of business acumen developed within the drilling services industry; senior management and technical expertise with a proven ability to share knowledge, through training in certain areas, such as directional drilling, RC drilling, specific techniques related to underground drilling, and the rigs and safety equipment associated with these drilling techniques.
