Technical Superintendent

• Supervise mine planning engineers and ensure that design for all mining pits, dumps and accesses are completed to the required standards.
• Prepare and communicate mining and dumping schedules, mine plans and production targets for the mining contractor and all mining personnel, and ensure that the long term and strategic mine plans are achieved.
• Monitor all mining activities and to ensure the mine plan is achieved.
• Manage the mine geology department and ensure that coal mining meets the required quality standards, coal recovery is maximized and that geotechnical risk is managed with monitoring and analysis of slope stability.
• Manage the survey department and ensure that all survey requirements are achieved.
