Materials Engineer

• Your remit will include providing materials, mechanical parts and processes engineering support to internal business units as required, to contribute to the Materials and Processes team in assuring the quality of products of materials used in my clients products, and act as the responsible engineer for one or more project teams and act as the single point of contact for the resolution of all materials and process issues
• You will also participate in risk reviews, prepare appropriate materials lists, and monitor the technical performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Materials Engineering in relevant fields such as - electronics, composites, soldering and SMT, PCB's, welding, metal finishing, metallurgy, paints, coatings and adhesives
• An awareness of health and safety and COSHH is also necessary.
