Apex Companies, LLC, a national provider of
environmental, health, safety, and engineering services, seeks a self-motivated,
entry-level Geologist for our office in Charlotte, NC.
- The Geologist will
be involved with site investigations (monitoring well installation, design and
construction, soil and groundwater sampling, etc.); CERCLA/RCRA process;
remedial investigations; groundwater remediation methods; and technical writing
- Position is
expected to contribute to client relationships, business development and repeat
business opportunities
- Position requires a
BS degree in Geology or Hydrogeology (MS preferred)
- Candidate must
demonstrate strong technical writing and oral communication skills, possess the
ability to work in a team environment, and have proficiency with Microsoft
Office products (Excel, Word, Access).
In addition to the
basic qualifications, preferred candidates will have:
- Working Knowledge
of GIS applications (ArcGIS)
- MS degree in
Hydrogeology
- Coursework or
experience involving environmental regulations, groundwater, and environmental
remediation
- Internships or
projects related to environmental compliance or remediation
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER
training
