Senior Exploration Geologist

U.S. Silver Corp. is seeking a qualified individual to provide geological exploration support at its mining operations near Wallace, Idaho. U.S. Silver currently operates the underground Galena Mine, producing a silver/copper concentrate from high-grade, narrow-vein ore bodies. The Coeur Mine and Caladay area are also part of U.S. Silver’s holdings

The Galena Mine is in the heart of beautiful north Idaho noted for its fabulous outdoor recreational opportunities

• The Exploration Geologist will be responsible for organizing and implementing the exploration program within the mine
• The individual must posses the ability to conduct the conceptual thinking required to identify, explore and evaluate exploration targets utilizing historic data, input from other team members and consultants, and current knowledge and understanding of precious metal deposits
• Experience in the use of 3-D modeling software as a tool for interpreting and understanding ore deposits and exploration targets, and presentation of the information to others is a must. Experience with Gemcom and AutoCAD is a plus
• Qualified candidates will have five to 10 years experience in exploration and mine production experience in underground, narrow vein precious metal deposits, as well as a bachelor degree in geology
• Additional requirements include proficient abilities with QA/QC programs, geologic databases, diamond drilling programs, presentation software, and Microsoft Office; excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to work well with others.
