Geologist

You will join a team of
geologists and supporting staff, working closely with other technical and
production personnel. Work will include, but not limited to -
- Logging borehole cores from the underground drilling
program.
- Planning and controlling borehole trajectories,
entering and processing the results into a database.
- Mapping and sampling underground development headings.
- Interpreting geological data from core logging and mapping.
- Participation in mine planning and grade control.

well suited to a geology graduate aiming to pursue a rewarding career in the

The Person
- To be
successful, you will be a graduate in Geology (or Mining/Applied Geology) with
a broad background of science disciplines
- Previous mining experience would be
an advantage but is not essential as full training and development will be an
integral part of the work
- Strong computer skills will also be an advantage
- You will be self-motivated, reliable, fluent in English and able to get on well
with colleagues.

The job involves regular underground duties.
- In
accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, applicants must be able to
demonstrate that they are permitted to work in the UK.
- Applicants
must also hold a valid UK
driving license
