Senior Environmental Project Manager

Leading environmental and civil engineering company has an opening for an Air Quality Professional in its well established and profitable Chicago area office. Innovative, entrepreneurial, and employee focused, the company has an excellent clientele base in the Chicago land area providing new and repeat business to the office. 

Requirements include:

• Possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology, or related discipline
• PE or PG license in Illinois preferred
• Experience working in the environmental engineering and consulting arena in a project management role
• Demonstrable experience in the management of projects and personnel in the subsurface assessment and remediation arena
• Experience in the assessment of soil and groundwater contamination at industrial facilities including those associated with Brownfield programs and state and federal cleanup programs
• Experience with the design, implementation, and O&M of soil and groundwater remediation systems is a recognized plus for this position
• An excellent understanding of Illinois environmental regulations as well as those of Wisconsin and Indiana
• Multiple project financial responsibilities and budget experience
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• A positive and enthusiastic energy to their craft, be innovative and open-minded, demonstrate experience in a team building approach to staff development, and experience in client interaction and growth.
• Existing client relationships and demonstrated client management experience required
