Geologist/Geophysicist

NAEVA Geophysics, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for several entry-level positions in our Congers, NY office location

• Successful applicants will have at a minimum, a B.S. or B.A. degree in geophysics, geology or geoscience
• Duties will include geophysical survey design, data collection, data processing and interpretation, and proposal/report writing
• The NY office specializes in subsurface utility locating and UST delineation, mostly in the New York City metropolitan area, with occasional overnight travel requirements.
• Geophysical techniques may include magnetics, electromagnetics, ground penetrating radar (GPR), GPS, seismic, gravity, resistivity, and borehole methods.
• Experience in AutoCAD, GIS and Geosoft a plus
• Training will be provided
• These are field positions requiring extensive outdoor work in all types of weather
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record is required
